POETS WANTED

Heady Here!  I wanted to do a quick post letting poets know that they’re wanted at poetry night.  I invite you to sign-up for upcoming poetry nights when you’re available.  There have been plenty of poets come thru and We Tell Stories Poetry Night is their first time on stage.  I love seeing new talent come thru.  Of course, I encourage you to craft your skills before getting on stage.  I suggest working on your presentation, be unique & artistic.  Raise your voice when needed but lower it at the right time.  Use your body to get your point across.  Become silent.  Presentation is key but I don’t discourage reading from a piece of napkin you may have wrote the poem on while at work or eating at your favorite establishment.  BUT HAVE A GREAT PRESENTATION!  YELL WHEN NEEDED.
