Song of the Day: Rain Down by B. Reith

I first learned of B. Reith about a year or so ago. Props goes out to whoever turned me to him because he “got” talent. There has been the desire to bring him in for We Tell Stories Poetry Night but the budget can’t handle it. Lol… My goal is to catch him the next time he comes through Oklahoma City and maybe we can work something out. Well, until then, I will just give him props by selecting his music for song of the day periodically.

With that being said, today’s Song of the Day is Rain Down by B. Reith. Go check his music out on his Myspace. He has music as well as videos on his page. Let me know what you think of him?

Kodak Zi8 Soon To Be My New Interview Camera

I’ve been doing my interviews with a Flip Video Camcorder. It works great for what I do. Plus, it is so mobile. I just put it in my pocket and go meet the person I’m interviewing. That easy. However, I saw this new Kodak Zi8 and I’m thinking I may have to say goodbye to my Flip. Well, I will keep my Flip because it’s great to have just in case. However, this Kodak has one thing the Flip doesn’t, well more than one thing. But the big thing is the ability to plug in a mic. This will give me better sound for my interviews. Yep, I maybe saying goodbye to the Flip and hello to Kodak. The Kodak Zi8 doesn’t come out in the US till September.

NICE
Zi8

Cool Bike X Child

Yes, the Brompton folding bike is super cool. I wish I had one. I also wish I lived in a situation where I could ride a bike everywhere. But, I live several miles outside of town and riding a bike isn’t an option. With that being said, the Brompton has added a new device in order to give your child a ride along with you to the grocery store. It’s called the itchair, which is a cool name.

Yep, I want one.
BromptonChildSeat

I can see my son riding with me.
BromptonChildSeat2

I found this on one of my favorite sites.
