Future Events: I think

I enjoy bringing people together. I really enjoy seeing new friendships being made per an event I designed. Oh, this is Heady. Okay, back to what I was talking about. People. Meeting. At events. It’s so awesome. A really great feeling watching people leave an event smiling and laughing. This isn’t easy to produce but when it happens – it “ROCKS” like no other. With that being said, I’m looking for some space to work out of. I pray to get some interns involved and possibly hire someone part-time and I mean really part-time. But with this space, I want to host some really small events. I’m talking like 30 people or a little more. Cool people. People who enjoy fellowship, art, music, etc. So my work space will also be a small venue. This is going to be fun! ha!

Names of possible events:
+ Social House (maybe once a month)
+ Hip-Hop Live (maybe weekly)
+ Acoustic Friday (weekly)
+ Showcase Blue (random art shows)

Stay posted.

Pics: April 09 (FUN!!!)

Abel came through and did the We Tell Stories Poetry Night audience “right” for a second time. People came out and packed the place. We had to turn people away again. Look at these pics and tell me why you missed. It is such a great feeling to see people having fun!

Kendal S. Turner April 09

Kendal is a veteran to the stage at We Tell Stories Poetry Night. It’s funny how she still has the ability to hold the audience at attention. We are expecting some great things out Kendal or should I say greater things. She is already doing some amazing stuff. Please enjoy Kendal and visit her website at kendalsturner.com.

Tyler: April 2009

Oklahoma City has so much talent. It is so much fun being exposed to all the talent bursting the seams of OKC. At We Tell Stories Poetry NIght, we invite the talent to cultivate the skills captured inside. Tyler is a young lady with an extremely bright future. The prayer is that she seriously cultivates her god given talent to use words. Check her out!
